Decatur Indoor Sports Center

The DISC, owned and operated by the Decatur Park District, is located near Millikin University and is the only facility of it’s kind in Central Illinois. This 87,000 square foot facility provides a number of recreational opportunities including an indoor soccer complex.

Fairview Tennis Complex

The Decatur Park District operates 25 courts throughout our community’s parks. The Park District proudly collaborates with USPTA Master Professional Chuck Kuhle and the Decatur Athletic Club to provide a great learning and playing experience for all. Court reservations may be made up to one week in advance by calling 421-7432.

Hickory Point Golf Course

Hickory Point Golf Club is a golf course for everyone from the beginner to the competitive golfer. Its flat, wide fairways are perfect for learning, while long distances and the ever-present wind provide challenge for more experienced golfers. Hickory Point hosts the LPGA Duramed/Futures Charity Golf Classic every year, as well as many high school and college tournaments. Designed by Roger Packard, it offers a lighted driving range. The clubhouse was renovated in 2001.

Red Tail Run Golf Club

This 18-hole course is designed in the prairie style – using native plants, flowers and grasses – by pro golfer Raymond Floyd. There are five tee-boxes at each hole, providing players of all skill levels a challenging game of golf. The course is named after the red-tailed hawk, a raptor, which is making a strong comeback in central Illinois. The hawk is frequently seen soaring along Route 51 South in Decatur. Course distance runs from 5100 yards from the front tee boxes to 7300 yards from the back tee boxes. Par 72!

Progress City USA

Progress City USA is an outdoor convention center with roads, parking, underground electricity, telephone lines and drainage. It has four sets of permanent heated and air-conditioned restrooms. It is located near Richland Community College which has seminar rooms that are available for use in conjunction with site events.

Decatur Soccer Complex

The Decatur Soccer Complex, located across from Stephen Decatur Middle School off Mound Road, serves as the home of the Park District’s MidState Soccer Club. The complex is comprised of 6 premium match fields, including 2 lighted fields and 2 premium youth fields. Fields are 120 yd. x 75 yd. and consist of a hybrid 80% Kentucky Bluegrass and 20% perennial rye. Recognized as among the finest soccer centers in Central Illinois, the Decatur Soccer Complex has hosted events for NCAA, Illinois Olympic Development Program, Midwest Regional League, Illinois High School Association and Central Illinois Youth Soccer League since its grand opening in 2005.
